I graduated from York St John University in 2006 and completed my MSc in 2011. I am currently working as an Advanced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Chronic Respiratory and Pulmonary Rehabilitation at York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I also teach on the undergraduate and MSc on-call module at York St John University. I am currently undertaking a PhD at Northumbria University with the prime focus on adherence in pulmonary rehabilitation.
My role as the research officer is to support members in their research activities, whether it is applying for grants, undertaking postgraduate education or writing up a project for publication. I can also assist with the 'basics' of literature searching, conducting an audit or designing a study - either as a department or as an individual. I also help to select abstracts for the ACPRC conference and offers support in designing and presenting the e-poster. If you would like support with any of these activities or if you think you have a research idea but don't know where to go from here, do get in touch.
