Warming-up pulmonary rehabilitation: An audit of current practice
 
The  purpose of this audit is to investigate current practice in pulmonary rehabilitation focusing on the use of, and structure of a warm-up.   

If you are happy to take part, please access the link below which will take you to a short online questionnaire. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and is submitted anonymously at the press of a button, no need to save and send.  All  responses  collected  for the  study will be kept confidential and  are  unidentifiable.

Consultation on a National Strategy for COPD PDF Print E-mail

Since 2005, the Department of Health, the NHS, patients, clinicians and other key stakeholders have been working together to identify the best ways to improve care for those with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and to reduce the amount of people with the disease.

You can access the consultation documents relating to the COPD strategy on the Department of Health website here. The consultation period runs until the 6th April 2010.

Respiratory.med is a new free e-journal which publishes the latest national and international Respiratory conference reports for all healthcare professionals with an interest in Respiratory Medicine.

 During the course of 2010, Respiratory.med will deliver reports from the American Thoracic Society International Conference, the Birmingham COPD 7 meeting and the European Respiratory Society Annual Congress.

thumb_tickI am looking to recruit Physiotherapists working in critical care at Band 7 or above. I am doing an MSc research project to explore the clinical reasoning process senior Physiotherapists employ when deciding on critical care rehabilitation.   The results will hopefully provide documented information regarding the clinical reasoning process of Senior Physiotherapists from around the country.
