GUY'S AND ST THOMAS' HOSPITAL Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist Band 8a, £45,068 - £52,200 pa inc. Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation Trust is the one of the largest teaching Hospital Foundation Trusts in the country, employing over 160 physiotherapy staff. An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7/8 Physiotherapist with proven advanced clinical skills to join the respiratory physiotherapy team. You will be expected to maintain a clinical caseload of highly complex patients, whilst providing highly specialist support and advice to staff. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills to support strategic development and clinical research and audit in the specialist inpatient services at St Thomas' Hospital. This post is supported by a Clinical Lead and Consultant Physiotherapists and you will be expected to ensure the development and delivery of a high standard of clinical practice in all areas. You will have had experience at a Band 7/8 level in acute critical care and evidence of a developed interest in this area. An excellent communicator, you will demonstrate a desire to work creatively with clinical leads and other principle physiotherapists to lead and bring about innovative service development within the respiratory team. A strong commitment to deliver excellence in training within physiotherapy and across the whole organisation and a demonstrable interest in research is essential. As part of the physiotherapy department's commitment to meeting patient needs and delivering excellence we provide a 24 hour, 7 day service. It is therefore essential that the post holder is able to work their hours flexibly.
