European Respiratory Society Congress 2011 Review, Amsterdam
Good old British bunting did us proud at this year's ERS, adorning the British Delegates Meeting point, a new venture this year hosted by Education for Health. The ACPRC, along with the BLF and many other British respiratory organisations, supported the British stand by sparing some hours to meet and greet British delegates attending the conference.

NICE Online Survey
Please find below the NICE survey link from Nick Harland to look at Physiotherapist use of online resources, particularly NHS Evidence, for professional development, education. The survey includes students.
I am undertaking this 'user research' project in collaboration with NICE with the intention that results will directly feed into plans to considerably further develop the NHS Evidence online resource this year. NICE are very serious about the results of this survey and some qualitative work they are also undertaking directly inputting into their development plans.
Despite every attempt to spread the word about the survey very widely indeed via multiple means the response rate has not quite been what we hoped for. NICE have indicated that 'survey about to close' mails can add up to 20% to response rates, the extra numbers would be useful. We are so far a little under 700 but really wanted over 1000 if possible.
