Lightning Talks Submission
Do you have an idea for a Lightning talk for the ACPRC conference 2023?
A lightning talk is a short presentation on anything! The scope is wider than an abstract and can include a clinical reflection, case study, new way of working, idea, alternative technique, novel equipment, or innovation. Or it could be a research proposal or literature review, rather than a full research abstract. It could also be a research project, service evaluation or clinical audit. This is your opportunity to present at the conference, and your name will be included on the speakers list. Lightning talks will take place both within the main programme (‘live’) and in pre-recorded parallel sessions. We would particularly encourage those who are new to presenting to submit a proposal, although we welcome all submissions!
To submit a proposal, write a short piece (250 words max), outlining your lightning talk. Include a brief background/introduction, your main text and a ‘take home message.’ You may submit a maximum of 3 proposals per person as presenting author. Deadline for proposals is 23:59 14th February 2023.
If you have any queries or would like to discuss your idea further, please get in touch with Sara Knight (education champion) s.knight5@rgu.ac.uk
Send your submissions to secretary@acprc.org.uk with ‘lightning talk’ in the subject heading.
