Lung Ultrasound mini-fellowship

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals (BTH) NHS Foundation Trust is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for individuals to undertake a fully funded 5-day Lung Ultrasound (LUS) mini-fellowship for physiotherapists.

The BTH LUS mini-fellowship has been designed to take an experienced respiratory physiotherapist from LUS novice through to full Intensive Care Society (ICS) Focused Ultrasound Intensive Care (FUSIC) LUS accreditation in 5 working days. These are the objectives of the mini-fellowship.The successful BTH LUS mini-fellowship candidate will have all training fees covered as well as standard U.K. and Northern Ireland return travel with 5/6 nights local hotel accommodation (on a bed and breakfast basis).

The training tuition fee will be subsidised by BTH NHS Foundation Trust while the travel and accommodation will be subsidised thanks to the kind sponsorship of GE Healthcare. Applications for the BTH LUS mini-fellowship will be considered by the BTH physiotherapy LUS team in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Respiratory Care (ACPRC).
